In our new bar, there are

... our barmaids and their smile.
The lunchtime regulars or the young people staying with us...

So what's changed?
First impressions picked up over a cup of coffee:

After the predictable "it was better before" (we're in France, we seem to be known for being reluctant to change our ways...), and a few criticisms of the wishy-washy lighting, the design of the new furniture gets everyone's thumbs-up.
"The orange is really lively, it breaks thing up a bit"
"From the hall, you get a better view of the bar, it opens up the space"
"Are there going to be any decorative elements to liven up the walls?" Of course! The final touches will be applied gradually.
"Where will the jukebox be?" In the hall: it'll be more accessible.

Views from the other side of the bar: "For the time being, it's a bit rough and ready! (They're still putting in the final fittings as I watch). But the space is more functional."

No worries! Everyone will soon find their bearings.

At the same time, work is continuing in the self-service restaurant.

In conclusion: "The coffee is still just as good!"
