Mission accomplished for everyone involved in the large gathering that was "Protestants en Fête 2009". The organisers drew a positive conclusion at the end of the weekend.

There were several highlights:

- Special events in the city (lectures, events for youngsters, the solidarity village).

- The festive evening: close to 9000 spectators were able to attend a major performance mixing classical choral works and gospel, theatre and rock.

- The religious service: brought together around 12000 Protestants of all persuasions at the Zénith and the Music and Conference Centre rented at the last minute to cope with the record attendance. The ceremony was marked by the sermons of preachers promoting the commitment to take action as a Christian, the fight against inequality and respect for the environment.

     At Ciarus, all hands were on deck:

     The promotional  effort to guarantee maximum visibility on the day, the accommodation, which gave performers and organisers a place to stay, the catering, which cooked for all of the guests at Le Plateau and delivered meals for technicians and performers to the Zénith, the events that created the Great "Protestants en Fête" Rally and spared no effort in welcoming the young participants at the Place du Château, the Ciarus technicians, often in the wings but always taking up the many challenges: reconciling an extraordinary event and security, transforming themselves into climbers to hang up the banners, becoming a director for a day for the lectures and their simultaneous translations…

    Protestants en Fête: a great event for committed Christians and a chance to put their know-how into practice for professionals in the hosting game.
