    For all Petit Plateau menus* (main course + dessert) purchased to the end of November, we will give you a tea or a coffee in our new bar: combine a balanced meal (seasonal vegetables are prepared in our kitchens every day) and a moment of relaxation, not to mention commitment to your fellow global citizens!

    For we have been offering you fair trade tea and coffee (Max Havelaar label) for a number of years. Fair trade thinks of itself as an alternative to global commerce in that it offers a different way of building relations between producers and buyers. And at the same time, it respects the producer's right to live from his work with dignity.

    If we refer to Human Rights (of which France was the birthplace – it's good to remember it sometimes): “Everyone who works has the right to just and favourable remuneration ensuring for himself and his family an existence worthy of human dignity.”

    It all depends, of course, on the meaning we give to those words: human dignity. But at Ciarus, we believe that putting man at the centre of economic transactions is to respect the values of human dignity.
