20 years… not of Ciarus (that was last year), but 20 years of staying at Ciarus… It is because of this somewhat special anniversary that we had occasion to honour Winnie Lind. As a trip organiser, Winnie Lind is one of the most loyal guests of Ciarus.

For 20 years now, she has been completely devoted to her groups and looks after the travel arrangements of her Danish fellow citizens from A to Z: transport, meals, visits, leisure activities. In the beginning, there were times when she was known to be a little stressed, but Strasbourg no longer holds any secrets from her. She organises meetings at the Parliament, and never fails to fill her suitcases with all those things she cannot find in Denmark. Winnie Lind appreciates French fashion, which she follows closely.

According to her, a Dane has every reason to buy shoes, clothing and especially cheese in France. Her favourite shop: Tadzio, rue des juifs.

On 13 November this year, surrounded by the Ciarus team, with a present, a toast to friendship and above all, shared memories: the moment was very much in keeping with the tradition at Ciarus: heartfelt and touching.
