The values which we share with our guests create a unique and special atmosphere, which is cheerful and friendly. Those who come to Ciarus with an open and curious mind are enriched by the time they leave - it is a place of experimentation in citizenship and peace - building, which enables generations, countries and cultures to mix.

   "Whether young or old, in good health or disabled and regardless of ethnic origin, here I am welcome with my cultural background and my convictions, received in a language I can understand. Here I am fully accepted and respected in spite of any differences. Equally I accept others for who they are."

   "Here I am neither an anonymous customer nor a lonely traveller. Outside my room, my place of privacy, I find a structure where hospitality and dialogue are not just empty words. Vast open areas are accessible to all guests, with detailed, up-to-date information as well as free interactive entertainment all available.    "Here I will meet people from different cultures and other horizons. Many paths meet here: ALSACE, a crossroads of men and ideas, is one of the regions in France which has been able to preserve its traditions and cultural differences.    "Through exhibitions, discussions and other events I have the opportunity to actively fight injustice and discrimination. I can also gain a better understanding of the rights and duties of my fellow citizens. Thus not only can I live and acquire tolerance and solidarity as well as work for peace in a concrete way according to my abilities and experience, but I can also take responsibility for the balance of our planet Earth - to feel what it is like to be a world citizen."

   "Here I am in contact with people who do not hide their spiritual affiliation and who openly live by their beliefs.
