Chance informal encounters between artists and the public, not in a “sacred” elitist space, but in a living space, where we drink coffee and enjoy lunch alongside works of art which explore techniques and genres.
Ciarus celebrates arts and culture by holding frequent previews and exhibitions in the heart of Strasbourg. We regularly host art exhibitions and previews, tastings, debates and charitable auctions.
Contemporary events for everyone. We welcome an eclectic audience of travellers, local residents, artists and regulars… a joyous melting pot which creates life in the heart of Ciarus.

Over the years, Ciarus has welcomed many artists practising in a variety of different media: photography, oil painting, acrylic, watercolour, dry brush watercolour, mixed media, sculpture, concrete, metal, wood, lithography, printing and digital printing.
Some artists have donated work to us to decorate the walls and spaces of Ciarus. Like the giant “Manele” by Henri Iglesis which is currently on display in our reception area.
